Kellin Holeman picks Arthur up from the parking lot near a diner and takes him to his home, a half-built house in the middle of nowhere. Kellin can hear voices, which Arthur thinks is insanity, until Kellin speaks to his dead sister's head, who then responds directly to something John said earlier.
Personality[]
Kellin seems to want Arthur to like him, sharing parts of his personal history voluntarily. His poor social skills and ability to hear voices make the ride an uncomfortable one. He only seems to want to hurt Arthur in earnest when his sister's head requests that she go with Arthur. Kellin decides he'd rather have Arthur kept in a similar condition to his sister than to lose her. He is distraught when the fire that Arthur started reaches his photographs.
He is also relatively smart, using Arthur's politeness to manipulate him into situations that Arthur does not want to be in, and keeping the weapons that Arthur can access in the house unloaded.
Description[]
Kellin wears a gas mask, claiming that he was in the war and his lungs haven't held up. He removes the gas mask after unchaining his sister's head from the pier, as a final act before he dies.[1]
History[]
Kellin speaks about his past; he had hay fever as a child and a cat that was potentially allergic to him. He seemed to have been close with his now deceased sister. He claims that he fought in The Great War and his lungs were damaged by gas weapons.[1]
In May 1927, Kellin was a patient Arkham Psychiatric Hospital. It is unknown when he was admitted or how long he stayed there. Kellin mentioned he had been to the Dreamlands, and implies he had learned this in the basement of the hotel in Leerie.[2]
Known Abilities[]
- He can hear voices. How many of these are other entities speaking to him and how many are in his own mind is never confirmed. At least one of them is the voice an entity in his sister's head that can hear John.
